Award recipients will be announced at the President’s Dinner at ETA’s Annual Meeting & Expo, Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.  Award winners will be kept confidential until the night of the event.

BUSINESS PARTNER OF THE YEAR

CRITERIA:
An ETA Member Company that has consistently supported the association  through sponsorship of ETA events, advertising in ETA publications, speaking at ETA events, serving on committees, and otherwise helping to further the Association’s goals and objectives.

CRITERIA:

DISTINGUISHED PAYMENTS PROFESSIONAL AWARD

CRITERIA:
An industry leader, acknowledged trend-setter, role model, and positive contributor to the efficacy and overall image of the industry.  An individual who:

• Develops/drives industry trends;
• Is respected and valued by industry constituents and who garners credibility and respect with external stakeholders;
• Contributes positively to the overall perception of the industry demonstrating integrity, high ethical standards, professionalism, etc; and
• Actively contributes to the collective success of the payments industry.

ISO OF THE YEAR AWARD - NEW

CRITERIA:
A current registered ISO and ETA member that moves the payments industry forward, exhibits high ethical standards, and has successfully met industry challenges with demonstrated results.

MEMBER OF THE YEAR

CRITERIA:
An individual from an ETA member company who dedicates time and effort to contribute to the future success of ETA. This may include:

• Writing, speaking or presenting at ETA events;
• Serving as a spokesperson or subject matter expert, representing ETA’s interests to external stakeholders;
• Providing intellectual capital, resources, or their expertise in support of ETA service delivery;
• Actively serving in a volunteer capacity;
• Helping to develop new programs, products or services for ETA members, and
• Otherwise supporting the advancement of ETA’s strategic goals.

TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION AWARD 

CRITERIA:
An ETA member company whose use of technology in the transaction processing industry increases standardization, promotes customer usability, increases profitability, or otherwise makes significant advances for the industry.  The nominated solution should be in current use in the marketplace, with demonstrated results.
