(Jan2008)ETA Launches Improved Annual Meeting Format PDF Print E-mail
ETA is excited to present a new and improved 2008 Annual Meeting and Expo, April 15 through 17, at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Based on attendee feedback, we've made some exciting format changes, designed to strengthen the industry's most important event and add value for attendees. We are sure you'll love the enhanced education and networking opportunities so register to attend today! Here are just some of the changes that will be featured this year.

The President's Dinner has been moved to Tuesday, right after the opening reception, to allow more people to participate and to create the opportunity for an entire evening of unparalleled networking. This year, attendees can extend the camaraderie of the opening reception at this vibrant kick-off event.

ETA has moved its breakout sessions to the show floor—just a few steps away from the exhibit booths—so you don't have to go far to participate. A C-Level track has been added, which will educate top executives on the topics that are important to them and the challenges they face; and the Sales Super Session will devote five hours to hot sales topics, such as "Maximizing the Merchant Relationship," Planning to be an ISO," "Value Add," "Merchant On-Boarding," and "New Payment Types and Technologies."

The Wednesday night party moves to the always-cool House of Blues, and will provide more than three hours of quality networking amidst the House of Blues’ famous southern-inspired cuisine and live entertainment.

This year, the Closing Luncheon and Session will take place in the Exhibit Hall, and will feature a “State of the Industry” address in which a panel of experts from all facets of the industry will address your questions.  Attendees will be able to submit questions to be addressed in this session via drop boxes throughout the conference.

In addition to these exciting new offerings, ETA will still provide the staples you’ve come to expect and upon which you rely. Check out the full schedule line up (hotlink to full schedule of events) to see all that’s in store in Las Vegas, and register and book your hotel room today!
