Part 3 Best Practices: Smart Card Implementation This session discusses the best practices and practical knowledge required for implementing a smart card payments system such as interoperability, upgraded POS and processing network requirements, training, and card issuance best practices. It also includes an ROI model developed by the Smart Card Alliance to assist retailers evaluating the business case for investing in contactless payments acceptance.
