ETA PRESENTS - The 2009 Economic Indicators Report Series

The Electronic Transactions Association invites you to attend a complimentary interactive webinar series entitled, The 2009 Economic Indicators Report.

The second webinar in the series, Pay as You Go -Income and Risk, provides a review of the most recent ETA/Strawhecker Group Economic Indicators report, and the changes and effects the economy has on your business.  This series will also give you tools to mitigate those changes. 

 

Industry experts will outline and discuss key economic tendencies that have an impact on the payments industry, how those indicators change what you see in risk and underwriting, and what you can do to reduce the affects of those changes.

 

Attendees will:

 

  • Become more aware of the performance of the US economy, from both a regional and retail segment standpoint, and understand how it affects the merchants you are underwriting and reviewing
  • Be able to develop strategies on how to manage and decrease the risk posed by those merchants
  • See the changes in credit and debit card use and understand the importance of this new trend, concentrating on debit card

The presentation portion of the webinar will last approximately 40 minutes, with approximately 15 minutes dedicated for audience Q&A after the presentations. We look forward to having you join us. 

ETA's webinars are delivered periodically by industry experts on the latest electronic payments topics. The seminar format is a 60 minute webinar with the audio delivered through your computer speakers.  It will consist of a 40-45 minute presentation with a 15-20 minute question/answer session.  You will be able to submit questions to the presenters using the question submission form, shown on the player during the live event. Presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint presentation) are delivered through a player which will appear on the day of the event after you insert your email address in the "Previously Registered" section on the registration page.  You will sit on a countdown page, until the presentation begins.
