Formed in 2006, the Financial Coalition gainst Child Pornography FCACP) is a ground-breaking alliance etween private industry and the ublic sector. Managed by the International entre for Missing & Exploited hildren (ICMEC) and its sister organization, he National Center for Missing Exploited Children (NCMEC), the CACP consists of leading banks, credit ard companies, electronic payment networks, hird-party payments companies, nd major Internet services companies. The coalition represents nearly 90 percent f the U.S. payments industry and elies on the involvement of U.S. federal nd state law enforcement partners.
The FCACP mission is to follow the low of funds and shut down payments ccounts used to support merchants peddling hild pornography. To accomplish his, the coalition focuses on removing arriers to information sharing across artner organizations; expanding its global embership; and supporting ICMEC’s fforts to promote robust child pornography egislation around the world.
