PCI-DSS Best Practices: Maximizing Level IV Merchant Engagement PDF Print E-mail
Payment Card Industry data security standards (PCI-DSS) is not a new topic in the industry; however, recent studies show that a dramatically high number of Level IV merchants don’t feel that their company is at risk of experiencing a data compromise due to the size of their business. These studies on merchant perception and awareness directly support and highlight the assertion that an overwhelming number of card compromises occur at Level IV businesses. There is still a long way to go in educating and engaging the majority of merchants on the PCI-DSS standards. There is no easy solution to this problem, but there are some things that you can do to make your program more successful.
