The Electronic Transactions Association (ETA) is an international trade association representing businesses that provide transaction processing products and services to merchants, known as the merchant-acquiring business.

ETA's web servers automatically collect information from site visitors, such as IP addresses and browser information, in order to optimize users' web experience and analyze traffic patterns. This information is collected and analyzed on a summary basis only. It is not personally identifiable.

We collect personally identifiable information only when voluntarily provided by website users as part of one of our web-based applications or processes, such as event registration.

All other information is used by ETA for the purposes listed on the form. We do not sell personally identifiable information about our site visitors to any third party.

ETA makes lists of event attendees available to selected exhibitors and sponsors for mailing purposes. If you would not like to receive such mailings, please note this preference on your registration form or notify ETA via phone or email. All event attendees receive a printed attendee list at the meeting. Event attendees are added to ETA’s mailing list to receive information regarding future events and/or products. To be removed from this list, please contact the ETA.

ETA offers additional online services to its members. All members of ETA receive a username and password to access this area of the site. ETA members have continual access to the membership roster and contact information in the "Community" area of the ETA web site, www.electran.org. Access to this information is restricted and cannot be downloaded for use as a distribution list in any format.

As a member benefit, ETA members in good standing are allowed limited use of the ETA membership mailing address list (primary company contact name, title, company, address, telephone number only). ETA does not release e-mail addresses or fax numbers. Companies not holding membership in ETA are not eligible to access any member information.

We do not sell personally identifiable information about our members to any third party.
