Request for Submissions in the ETA Technology Committee’s “Technology Showcase” at the 2012 ETA Annual Meeting & Expo
The Technology Committee invites you to apply for participation in the 2012 Technology Showcase to be held at ETA's Annual Meeting & Expo. Each year, attendance for the Technology Showcase continues to grow, providing participants with a large audience to highlight innovative payment solutions. This year, we are going “back to the basics” of the original value proposition of our industry: helping merchants sell more with electronic payments.
This year’s Technology Showcase will feature a media mix of live performances and video presentations. There will be two one-hour sessions concurrent with the ETA Annual Conference and 4 participants will be selected for each of the 1-hour time slots, a total of up to 8 participants are expected to be selected. The selected participants will have up to 10 minutes each to showcase their payment innovation with the focus on the merchant success story. Each participant session will start with a short video, provided by the participant, of a merchant defining a problem/opportunity. The participant will then utilize the remaining time to present the solution and success story.
Selected participants will showcase their payment innovations that have proven to give their merchants the ability to increase revenue, attract new customers, and enrich consumer engagement. Choose any industry or venue Hospitality, Retail, Online, or Brick-and-Mortar, social commerce and bring your merchant success story. The final, selected applicants will be selected based on the following criteria:
