Terms and Conditions
This electronic document/publication (the encyclopedia)is intended solely for informational purposes and reflects the best efforts of contributors and editors to provide a useful and accurate reference for anyone interested in the electronic payments industry.
While every attempt is made to assure the accuracy of the information in this document, the Electronic Transactions Association (ETA), its directors, officers and staff, make no representations that the information presented is accurate or fit for any particular purpose. Any opinions or interpretations of facts within the Encyclopedia are those of the author/editor and not necessarily those of ETA, its directors, officers or staff.
Users must obtain an account before making any edits or contributions to the encyclopedia. Those who apply for and receive an account agree to abide by the the terms and conditions for using the encyclopedia, including the following:
1. Users granted a new account may not add pages to the encyclopedia or edit any existing pages until 72 hours after the account is activated.
2. All user-added content or edits are subject to review, modification and/or revocation by ETA and the encyclopedia's administrators at their sole discretion. Users who submit or edit content may be contacted to verify the authenticity of their additions or changes.
3. Anonymous editing or additions to the encyclopedia are expressly prohibited.
4. Acts of vandalism or willful and deliberate attempts to maliciously alter the contents of the encyclopedia will result in immediate termination of the user's account.
Discussions related to topics in the encyclopedia should remain on topic and civil. Users who engage in abusive conduct, make personal attacks or use unacceptable language within the discussion sections may have their accounts temporarily or permanently revoked at the discretion of the encyclopedia administrators.
ETA Reserves the right to modify or make additions to these terms and conditions as needed and it is the responsibility of users to be familiar with and abide by these terms and any additions or modifications which may be made from time to time.
