State Resources

States are increasingly becoming the number one threat to innovation. As states look to fill ever-increasing holes in their budgets, states have become much more active in overseeing the payments industry looking for tax revenues, expanding current laws over additional and new participants, and simply writing new laws that fundamentally alter the way the payments industry does business.
