Data Security & Breach Notification

Data Security & Breach Notification legislation is an important issue for the continued growth of the payments industry. ETA has written letters of support for introduced legislation, submitted comments to hearings in Congress, have met with the Committees of jurisdiction, and have engaged regulators on the importance of a uniform national standard for breach notification.
